McKinsey, through its various offerings that include participant interaction, seeks to foster a productive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants to ensure that they get the most out of their experience. As such, we ask that all participants (as well as our program facilitators) abide by these Community Standards in connection with any McKinsey programs, offerings, or events (“McKinsey offerings”). Please understand that failure to abide by any of these Community Standards may result in notification to your sponsoring organization and/or discontinuing your participation in current or future McKinsey offerings.
We ask that all participants:
- (a) treat presenters, personnel, coaches, faculty, and fellow participants with courtesy and respect;
- (b) thoughtfully engage in conversation and do not interrupt or talk over others;
- (b) try your best to attend all sessions;
- (c) if possible, have your video on;
- (d) arrive to scheduled sessions on time;
- (e) abide by the applicable terms of use for the McKinsey offering; and
- (f) respect each other's privacy and confidential information, including by not using generative artificial intelligence tools (e.g., GenAI transcription tools to take notes or create summaries of materials)
In supporting such an environment, we ask all participants not to make statements, or share, post, or provide materials or comments, in any forum related to the McKinsey offering that:
- (a) are threatening, defamatory, or obscene;
- (b) would break or encourage the breaking of any applicable laws;
- (c) use someone else’s intellectual property without their permission;
- (d) contain a computer virus or other damaging element;
- (e) contain advertising;
- (f) are deceitful or a misrepresentation of your name, sponsoring organization, or your reason for accessing the McKinsey offering;
- (g) may unreasonably interfere with our ability to provide the McKinsey offerings and the ability of other participants to use and enjoy the offering;
- (h) violate any applicable McKinsey offering’s terms of use; and
- (i) violate any applicable policy or requirement of your sponsoring organization.
Please also note - some of our McKinsey offerings allow participants to choose to share publicly that they are or have been a participant. We appreciate any enthusiasm to share participation status publicly and on social media, and we ask that you are mindful of these Community Standards if you choose to do so. If you are unsure about whether or how you may share publicly that you are a participant, you should contact your applicable sponsoring organization (typically your employer), or the applicable McKinsey contact for the offering.
