Inclusive Leaders Academy is a 12-week virtual learning program comprising immersive faculty-led workshops, self-paced digital modules, small peer group discussions, and field work exercises for all people leaders.
Participants will leave the program with the people leadership mindsets, skills and behaviors to:
- Surface and incorporate a broad set of ideas and input from all team members to enhance creativity and innovation
- Foster trust and belonging among team members for stronger collaboration
- Promote healthy conflict and accelerate team decision-making to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
- Sponsor and mentor a broader array of team members
- Implement a clear plan of action that will help them build a culture of inclusion at the organization
This program is designed for any mid-level managers to early-senior people leaders; e.g.:

What is Inclusive Leaders Academy, and why did you launch it?
Over a decade of empirical research shows that without an inclusive culture, it is impossible to tap into the full potential and performance benefits of your workforce. In service of this, we launched Inclusive Leaders Academy.

Who should participate in Inclusive Leaders Academy?
The program is designed for any mid-level managers to early-senior people leaders (e.g.: managers with direct reports, managers with oversight over teams running projects or major initiatives, high-performing people leaders and leaders who set culture standards, new people leaders who have grounding in performance management fundamentals).

What roles does my organization need to support participants?
There are two roles that are required:
- Program Sponsor: An advocate for the ILA program who will sponsor enrollment, advise for program strategy and impact, as well as act as the signatory for participation.
- Program Champion: A primary partner to deploy the program, who will lead collaboration between McKinsey and participants, incorporate ILA into current learning or talent strategy, as well as cultivate participants.
One person can serve as both the Program Sponsor and Program Champion (~1 hour per week).

Are there any technical requirements for participants to fully engage in the program?
Prior to joining their cohort kickoff, please ensure your participants log into the learning platform and are familiar with the platform prior to the start of the program. You can find the technical requirements for the platform here.
